Sold as a pair. Bobbles are approx 2.5cm wide. I don't use cheap "$2 shop" elastics, as we all know those are prone to snap if you look at them the wrong way :D However the cool thing about this type of hair bobble is that if the elastic should perish or break over time, it's really easy to replace - increasing the life of the hair bobble!
