AIO Cloth pads These are pads that can be used as is.  The "Mini" and "Nymph" sizes are the smallest and perhaps best suited for a Menarche gift.  The "Neophyte" and "Maiden" pads can be useful for heavier flow days and perhaps overnight.  I would recommend a kit contain at least one of each size from Mini to Maiden, with additional Mini and Nymph pads if you want more pads in the kit. Base & Insert Pads These are a waterproofed base with straps that hold the absorbent inserts.  These inserts can be changed while leaving the base on.  The inserts are smaller to carry than full pads, so this system could be a good option for schoolgirls to use at school. I would recommend at least one "Nymph" length and one "Neophyte" set in each kit.  Perhaps with an additional "Nymph" length set. Extra inserts and bases can be added. Pocket Pad This kit can also include a pocket pad which can allow you to embroider the name (and date) of the first period onto the back of the pad easily. Jewellery A special piece of jewellery can help mark this transition from girl to woman, or be a beautiful piece of empowering jewellery to wear while menstruating. Necklaces, Earrings and bracelets are available.  Cycle Charting Bracelet A "Charting Bracelet" could make a useful as well as beautiful addition, to help the woman chart her cycles.  These are a "one size" bracelet with different coloured beads that represent the different parts of the menstrual cycle.  By moving the charm across one bead each day, these work like a wearable calendar. "Period Stuff" Booklets Booklets written to address some questions girls might have about their periods, tips for eliminating leaking problems, guide to how to use and care for cloth pads, tips for buying cloth pads and more. Menstrual Ceremonies Menarche Ceremonies are printed on parchment-look paper, and are available to mark the occasion of the young woman's first period, or there are menstrual ceremonies to celebrate menstruation for other women.
