If you don't like the type of clasp that is on the particular necklace, you can e-mail me about changing it to a different type of clasp - for no extra cost. I can also add extender chains to make necklaces longer that use the "parrot" or "lobster" clasps.   The clasps I have available are: Magnetic Clasp (silvertone) These are a magnet that is strong enough to keep the necklace securely done up, but not too strong that you have difficulty getting them apart :) I find this type of clasp quite handy to use for doing up the necklace behind your neck. Ornate Toggle (silvertone) This is a Tibetan Silver "toggle" clasp, that consists of a ring part on one side, and a bar on the other, to fasten it you thread the bar through the ring. Star Toggle (silvertone) This toggle is a star shape, which you might like to wear at the front in a necklace that doesn't have a pendant. (Additional $1 charge for these) Parrot Clasp (goldtone, coppertone, silvertone) This is a commonly used necklace clasp, where you push down on a little level thing and the "mouth" of the clasp opens to allow you to fasten it. I do have sterling silver parrot claps available by request (additional $2 charge applies). Extender chain (goldtone, coppertone, silvertone) Used with the parrot clasp, these are a section of chain, allowing you to choose how long to make the necklace.               Click on any Picture to see a Larger Picture!
