Made with red beading to represent menstrual blood, they can be worn as a secret acknowledgement of your monthly time, or let your closest friends/family know the significance and use them as a subtle way to tell them its 'that time of the month'. Made with sterling silver clasp, rhodium plated letter beads, quality faceted Czech fire-polished glass beads, and genuine freshwater pearls! The letter charms spell out "Menses", which is another term for menstruation (coming from the Greek term for the Moon). Black faceted glass beads space these letters. The rest of the necklace is made from red and clear Czech fired glass beads with silvertone filigree style spacer beads, larger deep red faceted glass beads, Bali-silver spacer beads and 6 genuine freshwater pearls. This necklace is made on "Tiger's Tail" (coated wire that is extremely durable), with sterling silver "parrot" clasp and tag (the part you clip onto). Necklace measures 48cm long.
