A foldup pad has a normal pad shaped top, with a trifold booster sewn to the underside. This trifold part provides the main absorbency for the pad, but can be unfolded to allow the pad to dry more quickly than an All-in-One style pad. To use this pad, fold one side of the booster part over 1/3, then fold the other side ontop of this. Then place the pad into your underpants like you would any other pad (with the trifold size down) The wings snap around to hold the pad in place. The winged part of this pad is made from a top layer of bamboo fleece, and an underneath layer of printed cotton. The trifold is made from a layer of bamboo fleece and a layer of printed cotton, with a strip of PUL Please see here for more information on fold-up pads. As this fold-up pad has a PUL strip for waterproofing, make sure when you fold the trifold section, fold the non-pul side in first, then the PUL side last, so that the PUL is the outermost layer of the folded section.
