The inner is PUL and the outer is a printed cotton. The laminated (plastic) side of the PUL is between the layers, so that only the polyester fabric side of the PUL touches the food. To use a lunchwrap, you simply place the food (sandwiches work best) on the opened wrap and fold one side over, then the other.   Then fold the bottom up, and the top down to secure with the velcro. The PUL lining in the Lunch Wrap limits airflow to the food, which helps to keep the food inside from drying out. It can also help to contain gooey foods (like mayonnaise or sticky foods). However, please note that PUL fabric has not been rated/tested for food safety. Fits 1 sandwich made with standard sized bread (up to 13cm x 12cm) and up to about 3cm thick.
