These "dummy clips" can be used to keep a dummy ("binky"), toy, drink bottle or other items in close reach of your wee one. 
 
The top has a plastic "alligator" type clip, which is opened by fully lifting up a little tab, which makes it very difficult for a child to open on their own. This clip can be used to attach to clothing, the fabric on a stroller or high chair, a pillow etc. 
 
For times when there is nothing to attach the clip to, there is also a snapped loop, which allows you to snap this around something about 3cm diameter... a handle of a stroller, part of a high chair etc. 
 
On the other end there is another snapped loop, which you can use to attach a dummy, drink cup handle or anything else to this.  
 
 
 
If you need a little extra length, you can unsnap the top snap, and slide the plastic clip to the end of the ribbon. The clip cannot slide right off the end because the snap cannot pass through.

If you need it shorter, you can unsnap both snaps, and snap the bottom snap to the top socket and the top snap to the bottom socket (sounds complicated but you'll figure it out)...

 
 
Parental supervision should be used with any dummy clip, and use while sleeping is not recommended for child safety.
