 Obsidian Star holds no responsibility for injury, harm or health problems suffered by use of these products. As these products are handmade, there may be slight imperfections. In the case of custom ordered products, or products listed with more than one item in stock, the finished product you receive might not look exactly the same as the ones shown, as placement of printed fabrics will be slightly different from pad to pad. Photographic representations The photos showing the product may contain additional items that are not for sale in that listing. For example cloth pads are usually photographed as 2 pads together in the one photo, to show the back and front sides of the pad. Where fabric items are cut from patterned fabric, the placement of that print may be different in each item, and the item you receive may not be exactly the same as the example photo shows. In prints where each item will look very different due to fabric print placement, each item will be listed separately. The listing will be for 1 item (the one described) unless otherwise specified. Due to differences in monitor settings/capabilities and individual user settings, the colours you see on screen will probably not exactly match the colours of the items in real life. (If you use an LCD screen or laptop, you will probably be see pictures as brighter as they are, as these monitors are often set to high brightness settings). While every effort is made to represent them in a true colour on my computer, it is possible that it will appear differently to others. If you are concerned about an exact colour match, please feel free to discuss it with me. Over selling Sometimes I will have more than one of an item in stock. I often transfer stock over to/from my Cloth Pad Shop stores, or list half of the number of items in each location. While I try to only list the actual number of an item available, and to keep track things, occasionally this may result in me listing more items than I have available. If this happens, you will be notified and offered a refund/replacement of that item depending on the situation. Cloth Pads and Fabric Items The absorbencies of "Light", "Medium" and "Heavy" in reference to the cloth pads are a guide only. It is recommended to change your pad before it becomes "full" for hygiene and comfort reasons (around every 4-8 hours), regardless of the absorbency of the pad. Cloth Pads work more effectively when you are wearing snug fitting underpants (Preferably cotton or other fabric that allows some grip rather than more "slippery" fabrics like nylon). There can be no exchanges or refunds on Cloth Pads or associated products due to health reasons. Fabrics The fabrics used in making these products may fade, stain and become worn over time. Obsidian Star makes no guarantees that these products will not leak or to how long they will last. "Hemp" refers to a hemp/cotton (55% hemp, 45% cotton) blend fabric unless otherwise specified. "Hemp/Organic cotton" blend fleece is 55% hemp 45% organic cotton. "Bamboo fleece" is a blend of bamboo* and cotton (usually 85% bamboo 15% organic cotton). "Bamboo velour" is usually a blend of 70% bamboo*, 25% cotton, 5% polyester). "Cotton Velour" and "Sherpa" are 80% cotton 20% polyester. * "Bamboo" fabrics are required by American standards to be labelled as "bamboo made from rayon" due to the process of manufacture. Sewing Guarantee 3 Month sewing guarantee - I`m confident that you will not have any problems due to stitching errors in your pads, however if a problem was to occur it would generally happen the first time it was washed. Problems could include the core bunching up inside the pad, stitching coming loose or a section of the top or bottom fabric coming away at the seams. If your pads have a problem such as this (Related to the sewing of your pads) within the first 3 months of use, you may send the pad back to me and I will repair it free of charge. (If such a problem occurs please notify me first to arrange this) Potential Allergens Obsidian Star products are made/stores in a non-smoking home, but with an indoor shorthaired cat and outdoor dog. While every effort is made to avoid cat hair/dander coming into contact with fabrics/products (Fabrics are stored in a sewing room where the cat is not allowed), this cannot be guaranteed. If you have an allergy to animals, it is advisable to wash cloth products and allow them to hang on the line outside to help remove any traces of allergen. Fabrics are washed in natural/organic herbal-based laundry detergents, or using Soap Nuts. Previously "Hurricane" laundry liquid was used, so some fabrics have been washed with this. If you have a sensitivity to laundry liquids, it is advised to wash any cloth products before use. Those suffering from peanut or other tree-nut allergies are advised that these products are likely to have come into contact with nut traces. Also from time to time little extras gifts like chocolate, lollies or tea may be included in your order, and these products may be made from or contain traces of nuts. Please contact me if you have any concerns regarding this. I usually include a piece of dried lavender in all Australian orders, please let me know if you do not want this. Postage & Payment Obsidian Star accepts no responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. Refunds or replacements for such items will only be made if they were sent Registered Post/with insurance. If you wish to have your items sent registered post/with insurance, please select this option at checkout or inform me when placing your order. Goods will only be sent after payment has been made.
