I'll be honest... I used to think aprons were for old ladies. I could see why they were useful, but I just didn't think they were for me. But then I got sick of splashing spaghetti sauce on my front when cooking... so I ended up tucking a teatowel down my top - not exactly a good look! and thinking perhaps an apron wasn't such a silly idea after all. I also started wishing for an apron to stop me being covered in threads and fluff from sewing. Hmm, perhaps an apron would be handy! So I got myself an apron... and I actually found, much to my surprise, I used it. So then I bought another one, a prettier one... and used it even more. But I wasn't happy with how little coverage it gave in the bust area. I needed to make one that fit properly, and looked nice - so created my own design.

These retro aprons are reminiscent of the 50s style of elegant aprons that were as pretty as the dresses they protected.

Designed to flatter the figure, whatever size that may be!

They feature wide coverage at the bust, to help catch any splashes there while cooking. A lovely flared skirt, which gives a more flattering hourglass shape to the apron and accentuates your curves. Alternating panels create an illusion of a slimmer line, particularly on the black aprons.

Whether you use the apron for cooking, craft, housework, gardening or whatever - you may never want to take it off!
Fully lined, these aprons are made with a "Turned & Topstitched" technique that means there are no exposed seams and the straps are sewn into the seams. All the panels are topstitched to lie flat and give a neater appearance.

The 7 panel aprons take around 3 hours to complete - They truly are a labour of love!

Most styles have a plain back in the same fabric as the plain panels on the front, however from time to time fully reversible aprons are available which have different alternating prints on either side.

Available in 3 styles:
"7 panel" (Above Left)
"5 Panel" (Above Right)
"3 panel" (Left)

All aprons are "One size fits most", and have generous length ties and can be worn by any size woman. The more panels the apron has, the wider the skirt will flare out. The 5 panel aprons are the smallest size apron, particularly at the waist and bust area, so are better suited for smaller women.
